Gramatik to close out 2013 in Chicago with two-night New Years Run

Gramatik NYE 2014Silver Wrapper and React Presents announce that electro-soul producer Gramatik will play Chicago for a two night New Years Run celebrating NYE at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University on 12/31 and starting with a very special, intimate appearance at Concord Music Hall on 12/30. After enormous performances at this year's Spring Awakening Music Festival and North Coast Music Festival, Gramatik returns to Chicago after a three month, 30+ date Fall tour. Gramatik just unleashed "You Don't Understand" off his forthcoming album, The Age Of Reason, featuring guitarist Don Daro of Exmag. In hype of the upcoming album, Gramatik explains how he differs from the vast majority of electronic musicians as he records using live instruments while striving to make dance music that tells a story. During a recent interview with Relix Magazine, he stated, "There's a lot of guitar, bass, piano, all types of organs, lots of original vocals - more than any other record I've ever produced. The Age of Reason combines all the genres I've been producing since the beginning in the most drastic, neurotic, cohesive and outrageous way imaginable."

Gramatik will be joined on 12/31 at Auditorium Theatre by trap/house producer heRobust, five-headed beatsmiths Exmag, and Chicago's own Manic Focus.

On 12/30 at Concord Music Hall, Gramatik will be feature various artists from his label, Lowtemp, as support, with exact artists to be announced.
