Re-Evolution Revolution - July 28th LATE, 2007
The Headhunters
featuring Mike Clark, Bill Summers, Robert Walter, Fred Wesley, Donald Harrison & Charles Fambrough
w/ The New Mastersounds
Last year was so good we had to bring them back... and the incarnation is a little bit different, but the music is going to be just as good. You've got two of the original Headhunters, a Mardi Gras Indian on sax, a legendar jazz bassist, James Brown & the JB's trombonist, and one of the Greyboy Allstars. Talk about mixing old and new... and they'll be revitalizing the classic Headhunters tunes. Simply put... it a Re-Evolution Revolution. And, the funk monsters out of Leeds, The New Mastersounds, are on hand for a set. We're pretty sure we don't need to say anymore.
